My Approach
As a counsellor, I believe in a holistic and person-centered approach. Each child and family I work with is unique, and I tailor my therapy to fit their individual needs. Whether it’s helping children cope with anxiety, supporting families through transitions, or working with parents to improve communication, my goal is always to foster growth, resilience, and positive change. I use a variety of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, person centred therapy, solution focused therapy and much more to provide the client with every opportunity for growth and empowerment.
My Journey
I’ve always been fascinated by the mind and how our experiences shape us. My journey into counselling began with a deep desire to understand people better and provide meaningful support to those going through tough times, especially children. As a mum to three myself, I understand the unique challenges kids face today, and I’m here to provide the tools and strategies to help them thrive emotionally.
Why I Work with Children
Children are at the heart of my practice. I’m a mother of three myself, so I understand the challenges parents face and the importance of nurturing a child’s mental health from an early age. Through my work, I aim to equip children with the emotional tools they need to understand their feelings, cope with life’s ups and downs, and build strong, positive relationships.
Outside of Counselling
When I’m not in session, you can find me spending quality time with my family, enjoying the outdoors, or getting lost in a good book. I also love creating workshops to support kids and parents in their mental health journeys and am continuously exploring new ways to bring mindfulness and emotional well-being into everyday life.
